NATIONWIDE - In a 6-3 decision, the United States Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade - the case that has protected reproductive rights at the federal level since 1973. In 2022 alone, more than 500 anti-abortion measures have been introduced in 41 states. Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, reproductive health laws will be up to the discretion of state legislatures, in which at least 26 states are likely to move to ban abortion, and 36 million women and other people who become pregnant could lose the right to choose.
