We are building a network of support for a new generation of Latinas to educate and mobilize their local communities to close the gap in civic participation and increase the political representation of Latinxs in the U.S.
ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP
The Poderosas fellowship is a part of Poder Latinx's civic leadership programs designed to provide leadership development and inspire Latinas across key electoral states to use civic engagement tools to increase voter participation in their communities. Our vision is for every Poderosa fellow to have the necessary tools to educate and engage their local communities to help close the gap in civic participation and increase the political representation of Latinxs in the U.S.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
We are a unique action-oriented fellowship with access to tools and events that take our fellows, volunteers, and community at large beyond the lecture and traditional training. We are closing the Latinx civic participation gap and increasing our political representation via phone banking, voter registration drives, digital organizing, and taking leadership ourselves.
