PODEROSAS STATE SUMMITS
The Poderosas Summit is going regional for the second year! In 2026, Poder Latinx is once more bringing its signature leadership event beyond Washington, DC, right to the heart of the communities where Poderosas are already taking charge.
We’re calling on all Latinas to join this powerful experience and gain the tools, skills, and networks to make a real impact in their communities, with a special focus on Energy Affordability and protecting families from rising energy costs.
Our Poderosas State Summits are designed to build grassroots power, strengthen local movements, and equip participants with the confidence to lead change. You’ll hear from elected officials, organizers, community leaders, and policy experts while participating in Latina-centered workshops on voting rights, climate justice, and energy justice. The day-long agenda will include trainings, keynote speakers, panels, breakfast & lunch, plus complimentary headshots and materials for attendees.
WHY THREE REGIONAL SUMMITS?
In 2026, Poder Latinx is taking the Poderosas Summit regional to deepen our impact where it matters most—on the ground, in communities leading the fight for justice and representation. By hosting summits in three strategic regions, we’re meeting young Latinas closer to home, removing barriers to participation, and creating space for local voices, challenges, and solutions to take center stage.
This shift reflects our belief that lasting change begins at the local level. While past summits focused on federal engagement in Washington, D.C., by going regional we are able to uplift grassroots leadership, build tighter networks of Latina leaders, and invest in community power where it's urgently needed.
“Each region is different, but the mission remains the same: to equip young Latinas with what they need to take charge of their futures and the leadership of their own communities. These summits are more than workshops, they’re incubators for Latina power and civic action.”
