Poder Latinx Hosts Free Citizenship Workshop in Yakima, Washington

WHEN: Saturday, March 18, 2023 9:00 AM -  1:00 PM PT

YAKIMA, WA - Poder Latinx is hosting a free, two-part citizenship workshop available to local community members in Yakima, Washington. Part 1 of 2 is a required informational session for the citizenship clinic being held on April 15th. During the informational session, applicants will be informed of the proper documentation necessary to apply for citizenship and how to prepare for the clinic. A pro-bono attorney will be present to answer any additional legal questions regarding the process ahead of the clinic. 

During part 2 of 2, community members can apply for citizenship with assistance from attorneys at no cost and receive support in filling out forms and paperwork. In order to take part in the citizenship workshop, applicants must attend the informational session in person.

Assistance will be available in English and Spanish during both events.
