ORLANDO, FL - Join Poder Latinx, National Action Network, Florida Coalition of 100 Black Women, Physicians For Social Responsibility, Citizens Climate Lobby, and The CLEO Institute for a series of webinars with experts and leaders to bring awareness to and engage our communities in a conversation about pollutants in Orlando and health disparities and impacts in the greater central-Florida region.
There are over 40,000 people in Orlando that are being impacted by air pollution. This not only increases the chance of contracting COVID-19 but also decreases the lifespan of our friends and family. Ahead of World Environment Day, we’re inviting our community to come together and talk about what we can do to stop contamination in our environment, and the steps we can take to create solutions for our friends and families.

Poder Latinx, our mission is to build a political wave of voters where the Latinx community, immigrants, and people of color play a key role in the transformation of the country and become decision-makers in our democracy. Through innovative partnerships, issue-based organizing, and leadership development, Poder Latinx is rapidly expanding the U.S electorate with new and low propensity Latinx voters. In its first six months, Poder Latinx registered 30,000 voters, building a foundation poised to create change starting with the Presidential elections in 2020.
