Vianey Preciado
Texas State Program Coordinator
Vianey is a first-generation Mexican American born in Brownsville, Texas and the eldest daughter of immigrant parents. She is passionate about community organizing, and advocating for and empowering BIPOC, immigrant, and low-income individuals often underrepresented in the non-profit sector. She has dedicated her career to creating an equitable society for all and shaping a government that reflects, respects, and represents us all. Vianey believes in the power of her community and her passion is to help them realize it and take steps towards actualizing the future they dream of for themselves. The Latinx community is beyond capable of monumental change, it’s just a matter of them recognizing, feeling, and working with it - which is exactly what Vianey does leading the Texas Program for Poder Latinx as the Texas State Program Coordinator.
In her free time she likes to travel, visit coffee shops, and spend time with her family, partner and their 3 pugs.
