Become A Madrina
Passing the baton is key to building a pipeline for future generations to find a path to leadership. As our Poderosas Fellowship grows into every state in the country, we rely on identifying role models within the civic engagement space to build relationships with the Poderosas fellows and network.
As we grow the fellowship, one of the most critical steps we can take to ensure our fellows’ continued success in seizing more opportunities is to support them via a Madrina program, where they can see what is possible.
Madrinas are recognized Latina leaders who have at least 7-10 years of experience in the civic engagement field and are willing to share their journey and allow more young Latinas to follow in their footsteps.
Madrinas are willing to collectively build a homebase for more Latinas to be civically engaged and help advance this new generation of Latinas to continue to be voices, faces, and catalysts to move our community forward. APPLY TODAY!
Interviews to become a Madrina will start on March 1, 2023. Priority will be given to invited Madrinas. For questions, comments, or concerns please contact Monica at MSibri@Poderlatinx.org
