Cristian Avila

Cristian Avila, born in Mexico, and moved to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of nine. For nearly two decades, he has dedicated himself to empowering Latino and immigrant communities. As a DACA recipient, Cristian is inspired by the passion, resilience, and determination of the immigrant rights movement. He has collaborated with various progressive organizations, including Mi Familia Vota, labor unions, national foundations, businesses, faith leaders, and public policy advocates.
Cristian brings extensive experience in voter mobilization, electoral campaign strategies, community engagement, public policy advocacy, targeted field research, and bilingual communication campaigns to our team. A proud father and baseball fan, Cristian is often seen in his cowboy boots, championing change. Cristian is committed to ensuring that Latinos and immigrants in the country have the tools and opportunities to fully participate in our democracy by taking action in their communities and building a better future for all.
