Jennifer Esmeralda Zuniga Martinez, Poderosas Fellow

Jennifer Zuniga Martinez graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a background in communication, community outreach, and advocacy work supporting children and underserved families. She hopes to continue strengthening community connections through the Poderosas Fellowship, and expanding access to resources for immigrant communities. 

 

Isabel Fraire, Poderosas Fellow

Isabel Fraire is a political science graduate and paralegal with experience in legal advocacy, policy, and civic engagement. Through the Poderosas Fellowship, she is focused on advancing educational equity, women’s healthcare, and community-driven policy change. 

 

Alessandra De Jesus Hernandez Ramos, Poderosas Fellow

Alessandra De Jesus Hernandez Ramos is a business administration student with a passion for leadership, communication, and supporting immigrant communities. Through the Poderosas Fellowship, she hopes to continue empowering others, advocating for women’s rights and immigration justice, and creating opportunities for underserved communities. 


 

Esmeralda Cruz Ortiz, Poderosas Fellow

Esmeralda Cruz Ortiz is a sociology and criminology student with a focus on mental health, social services, and advocacy for marginalized communities.  She aspires to continue strengthening community engagement through the Poderosas Fellowship, and expanding support for underserved families and immigrant communities.
